Our Mission:
Every child deserves to feel safe, supported, and cared for — especially during times of uncertainty and transition.
When children unexpectedly enter the foster care system, they are often removed from everything familiar to them and may arrive with very few personal belongings, unmet emotional needs, and limited support. Foster families step in during these critical moments, often with little time to prepare and a need for additional community support.
Foster Friends Foundation was created to help bridge this gap in care by supporting both children in foster care and the families opening their homes to them.
We partner with local child advocates and foster families to identify individualized needs and provide meaningful support during difficult transitions.
Right now, we are building the foundation of this program and raising funds to begin responding directly to the immediate needs of foster children and foster families throughout the Kansas City community.
Every contribution brings us one step closer to making a meaningful difference for children and families navigating uncertainty and transition.
Foster Friends Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
